ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Heartstrings Project
Luke Wygodny & Marina Pires will be playing a stripped down set featuring an intimate version of their album ‘shadow people.' They'll be playing alongside some of their favorite humans on the planet Sam Quiggins (on cello) and Nyssa Grant (on violin). Let’s sing together as we celebrate this new chapter in finding our humanity as a nation again.
The Heartstrings Project write songs about what’s happening within the heart. Indie Folk tunes with cinematic elements. A family band fronted by Luke Wygodny, Marina Pires & Elias Wygodny. Each story another world; guided by raw storytelling, rooted in three part harmony, mixed with the delicate textures of magic loops on cello. It’s their way of letting go & finding what it takes to live with a heart in tune. The mission is to echo & honor all the brothers & sisters before them, & to provide hope for the generations to come.
The debut album Shadow People is out on all music platforms. Tiny Records / Ropeadope. www.theheartstringsproject.org @theheartstringsproject
