Last year, to try to heal from a broken heart, Kris got in her car and performed in all 50 states in less than six months. Her folk/pop/Americana music has won several awards including Best Female artist in the International Acoustic Music Awards and last year she was chosen as part of the Grammy NEXT program. She began 2020 with the release of That Siren, Hope which debuted at #1 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart and as the highest ranked independent release on the Billboards Top Current Albums chart at #79. It explores all the facets of hope, painting it as a mythical siren that draws you in only to leave you drowning, but also as a comfort and a force that keeps you going when you can’t see what’s ahead. It has been getting played on SiriusXM, climbing the Americana radio charts, and is on the first round ballot for the Grammy Awards.
